• $\lambda _{obs}$ is the observed wavelength
• $\lambda _{rest}$ is the original emitted wavelength
• $v _r$ is the relative velocity from the source to the observer
• $c$ is the speed of light

It is a simple switch from wavelength to frequency using $\lambda\nu = c$
